Positive Growth in sales

Condo sales in South Florida are recording strong growth in areas such as Fort Lauderdale, Miami Beach and Palm Beach.

Condo sales in Fort Lauderdale increased by 32.4% in the second quarter and the median sale price was at a high $386,000. This price increase is 35% higher than last years.

In the Miami Beach, condo sales are up by 12.4% with 915 successful closings recorded in the second quarter. The median price increased by 7% from last year with a median price of $438,000. Notable condos in the Miami Beach area include Marina Blue condo, Murano at Portofino condo, and Brickell Heights condo.

This surge of condo sales is contributed by the tax reform that was made last year that attracted high-end buyers to Florida. These buyers are relocating to a state like Florida which has no-income tax. As a result, luxury condo sales rose by 13.4% in Miami Beach and 19.1% in Fort Lauderdale respectively.

American will soon live in 8 states

According to American Enterprise Institute, 70% of Americans will live in only a few states (8 to 16 states) by the year 2040. This means only 30% of the population will remains in their original states.

Eight states including Florida, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas will make up a 49.5% of the total population. The other eight most populous states will account to another fifth of the population meaning that 70% of Americans will live in those 16 states. So buy quickly your condo in Florida before you get outnumbered by the population growth ! Bar Meli 69- Greek bistro and wine bar

Bar Meli is one of the most wonderful option if you want to eat Greek cuisine. i still prefer Mandolin, but for a change. The atmosphere is very cozy and fun. There is live music playing at the background while you eat. Overall, this restaurant is worth the try.

When I go to a Greek restaurant I usually order a lot of starters. At Barmeli69 I had the Moussaka, the boquerones, the grape leaves and the taramosalada which is traditional Greek food that you would not want to miss. If you still have room ask them to order Baked Lamb Filo Rolls which is just delicious. If you are craving for seafood, try their "Chef Maykels" Fish Ceviche is simply divine!
