Tips of the month: Best condos for sale at The Yacht Club at Portofino condo in Miami Beach:

The average price of the available units at the Yacht Club is $742/sqft. This makes the Yacht Club at Portofino condo the lowest priced condo in the South of Fifth neighborhood. Prices range from less than half a million to a beautiful just listed townhouse of $12M. There is currently 1 unit under contract, unit #1401. This has been under contract for over a month now and we can’t wait to discover the sold price. This beautiful 2-bedroom corner unit was listed for $689/sqft and had a wraparound balcony facing the Miami Beach Marina.

There has been four closings last month, units #2208, #2012, #2010 and #2612. This corner unit facing the bay was listed for $813/sqft and was under this status for almost three months! This was a long wait for a closing, but we finally discovered the sold price was $758/sqft. The record sale of unit #2010 got sold for $1.05M or $963/sqft. The fully and nicely remodeled unit facing the bay has been one of the highest recorded sales at the Yacht Club. The 1-bedroom unit #2208 closed $20K under the listing price of $55,000 or $711/sqft. Finally, the Bayfront corner unit #2012 listed at $899K got sold at $850,000 or $752/sqft.

If you are planning to purchase a 1-bedroom unit at the Yacht Club at Portofino, you should consider unit #1708. Being the lowest-priced condo facing the bay in the entire tower, this unit has been on the market for 7 months and the price has been increased since hen for a little over $10K. It was bought back in 2004 for $293k or $375/sqft, which is almost double than the current listing price. However be aware that this unit has a very small concrete balcony.

If you want to buy a 2-bedroom unit, our personal favorite is unit #2703 which is listed as low as $750K or $694/sqft. Being the lowest-priced high floor unit in the entire building, unit #2703 offers beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and South Beach city.

A must see unit is the just listed and one-of-a-kind Villa listed at $12M or $2,666/sqft. With 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms this 2-story completely remodeled unit offers 4 parking spaces and a unique sense of luxury and privacy hardly find in South Beach. It is definitely a unique property in the South of Fifth neighborhood.

For me, the Yacht Club at Portofino is the friendliest building of the area. It is wonderful to enjoy such standard of living in a posh neighborhood and be surrounded with the nicest people. I truly recommend buying here.

I used to visit my friends owning at the Yacht Club at Portofino. I have never seen a friendlier building, everything shouts "cozy" there!

I really love the Yacht Club. It is a great building which is located in a perfect and safe area. At the Yacht Club the amenities are great, a pool a tennis court and you even have barbecues that you can use with your friends and family. I found great neighbors there. The only default I could think about is concerning the hallways which are old and need to be redesigned. Otherwise I could only recommend this building!
