THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN PUT ON HOLD
Along the incomparable waters of Biscayne Bay, in the heart of the city of Miami, comes a destination resort complex to exceed any before seen in South Florida. Resorts World Miami is planned to incorporate four new hotels, two residential towers with up to 1,000 units, an upscale retail galleria, and a 3.6-acre rooftop lagoon as large as a dozen Olympic-sized pools with its own natural sand beach.
The famed Miami-based architectural firm Arquitectonica has designed a multi-level platform for freeform iconic towers inspired by the undulating coral reefs and marine environment of Biscayne Bay. The complex, with a planned 50 restaurants, lounges and nightclubs, will showcase the music and culture of Florida and South America in a state-of-the-art multimedia entertainment area. A 700,000 square-foot convention and meeting center will open to views of the Bay.
The Malaysia-based Genting Group, which has developed other Resorts World sites around the world, has secured the prominent site. The over $3 billion project will integrate the three-mile long BayWalk and provide a cultural bridge to the heart of Miami, including the innovative Miami Science Museum, the Miami Art Museum, Bayside Market Place, Bayfront Park and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
To be near the action in the heart of the city, consider Resorts World Miami as your headquarters for extraordinary urban living.
